Privacy Policy
MagmaBird is a free browser game in which you pilot a phoenix through erupting lava column formations. This policy describes what we observe as your phoenix rises and plays.
1. Information We Collect
Like a phoenix, our data collection burns away quickly and leaves little ash. We may receive:
- Standard browser request metadata sent automatically with any HTTP connection — your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, and referring URL.
- Your personal best column count, stored only in your browser's local storage and never sent to any external server.
- Completely anonymous aggregate flight statistics that cannot identify any individual player.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use technical data only to keep the eruption going, douse bugs, and gauge general play patterns. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or data sales.
3. Local Storage and Cookies
Your best flight is held in local browser storage only. Clear your browser data and it turns to ash — we retain no server copy.
4. Third-Party Services
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts via a standard browser HTTP request. No other third-party services are integrated into MagmaBird.
5. Children's Privacy
MagmaBird contains no violent content, no gambling, and no in-app purchases. The phoenix simply settles when it contacts a lava column. Suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 13.
6. Data Retention
Server log files are retained for a limited operational period and then deleted. Any gameplay data stored locally on your device is entirely subject to your own browser settings.
7. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold. Reach us through our website's contact form.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical protections to the data we process. No internet-based transmission or storage method is completely secure.
9. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be revised at any time. The updated date at the top reflects the latest version. Playing after a revision means you accept it.
